During the holiday season, it is important to give back to the community. The Tech Cheerleaders pleaded that same thing. And they were very happy when they heard the good news about cheerleading nationals in Orlando, FL. They will be going thanks to donations by many. They received a 22,000 grant on Tuesday that will make that possible.
I think this is great. Many of those cheerleaders hadn't had any cheerleading experience a couple of years ago. I think that this is probably the first time for some of those girls to really shine. Everyone needs that moment and the cheer squad from Tech is going to get their moment at Disney World thanks to some very nice people.

The hits keep coming
The NFL sent out more fines yesterday due to hits on defensless receivers and helmet to helmet contact. The league informed the AP about these incidents Monday. Players are still complaining today; just like they complained last week and the week before that.
The DB's for the Panthers said they wouldn't change their ways. But where is the line between being a rebel and being an idiot? Roger Goodell continues to hand out fines whether the players like it or not. First time offenders will be fined and 2nd and 3rd timers will be suspended.
